Study On Safety Risk Assessment Of International Projects

With the in-depth development of economic globalization, new changes have arisen in the world political and economic layout. It is inevitable choice to adapt to the strategic adjustment of economic structure, that Chinese enterprises contract for international projects and exploit global market. However, so many unsafe factors exist during the implementation of international engineering projects caused by international turbulent political scene, rampant terrorist organization, economic and cultural differences between different countries, which have a strong impact on staff safety and project progress. Therefore it is extremely needful to study on risk assessment system of international engineering project.Based on the concept of "big safety", this dissertation takes international engineering project as study object, combines theory with practice, and discusses safety risk assessment and control. At first this dissertation analyzes relative theory about safety management, international project risk management, and defines and analyzes the concept and relative theories about international engineering projects mentioned in this dissertation. Then, a safety risk index system is established by identifying and grouping the risk factors which may affect international engineering project safety, and method of theoretical overview and on-site investigation. At last, through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on AHP method, with company A's Thika Highway Project in Kenya as an example, through the company's internal investigation and expert scoring method to collect data and evaluate the safety of the international engineering project risk, and find out the key safety risks according to the results of the safety risk assessment, key control, which can meet the requirements of the international engineering project safety risk management, on the other hand can adjust cost, will use scarce resources to where it is most needed to achieve economization, enhance the safety of international engineering project.
