As a developing country with a large population, China is in a rapid developing period of urbanization. This situation had caused a series of problems including insufficiency of housing supply, with construction quality unable to meet the requirement. Meanwhile, the requirement of civilized green construction in building industry has been increasing strictly in recent years. However, due to its disadvantages such as long working period, huge labor consumption and serious environmental pollution, the traditional cast-in-site concrete construction method could neither satisfy the people’s demand for housing nor adapt to the promoted development trend of civilized green construction at present.Prefabricated assembled technology refers to the house-building method, that to make the components got form processing factory or precast construction site, by mechanical lifting and connection means, connected as a whole. Such technology has the obvious advantages including precast production of components, better structural performance, less labor consumption, less resource waste and environmental pollution. Its industrialized construction method can effectively solve the problem of labor shortage which appeared in recent years. In addition, it promotes the transformation of construction industry from labor-intensive type to technology-intensive type. At the meantime, the development and application of new technology in abroad shows that the prefabricated assembled technology has been improved greatly than early prefabricated building in thermal insulation properties, sound insulation properties, water resistant properties and comfort levels. Consequently, it has been a new mode of residential building construction in China.The application of prefabricated assembled technology has brought not only lots of improvement in construction, but also new challenges to the project management. This thesis research the management on the application of prefabricated assembled technology in construction. First of all, through the study of the related Articles, make analysis on present development situation of prefabricated assembled technology and its application situation in construction field now. Secondly, using concurrent engineering theory, optimize the design process of prefabricated assembled building and establish the design process of prefabricated assembled building based on concurrent engineering theory. Then, analyze the assembly process management from the point of view of prefabricated construction project process management group, using the WBS(work breakdown structure) method, make subdivision for tasks of assembly project, and then form the optimized project construction management mode. Finally, analyze the application effects of concurrent engineering theory and WBS method in the prefabricated assembled construction and prospect the future of the prefabricated housing construction.
