Research On Work Breakdown Structure Based On Valuation Management

In the construction project bidding and implementation phases,the work breakdown is the core work of the valuation management.Firstly,the paper introduces the theory of work breakdown structure,points out that the work decomposition is based on the different management goals.Under the different management objectives,the work decomposition methods and the decomposed work packages of the same project are different from each other.Secondly,this paper makes a deep analysis on the methods,contents and problems of the work decomposition based on the current building construction and fitting-out works.On the basis of investigation and analysis,we can optimize the current building construction and fitting-out works valuation in accordance with the decomposition sequence which is classification,stratification,subsection and subitem.The paper puts forward that the civil engineering and decoration engineering should be classified according to the specialty when we make the valuation of housing construction works.And in the building construction and fitting-out works of these two categories of projects should be included a clear division of their own work packages.It also optimize the decomposition level and contents for the preliminaries and work sections.Meanwhile,it puts forward to some suggestions for the decomposition of the preliminaries and work sections.At the same time,there is“The Building of Le Hua Ceramics Shop”as an example to validate the feasibility of optimizations.It has a positive guiding significance for the preparation of bills of quantities,tender sum and review in bidding stage phase.It helps to make preparation of bills of quantities.It improves the convenience and competitiveness of the tendering,too.Due to the optimization of the work decomposition,the measurement of quantities becomes more and more clearer.Therefore,the research can improve the quality and efficiency of the valuation management,such as the interim payment,etc.In addition,the paper puts forward to some suggestions for the revision of the “Standard method of measurement for building construction and fitting-out works”.
