Lateral hole of bottom-brake and long-corridor filling and emptying system is a simple type dispersive water filling and emptying system,due to a longitudinal flow uniformity in initial stages of irrigation,large wave force is generated in the chamber,thereby worsening vessel berthing conditions in the chamber.Based on the study of the lateral hole layout pattern of double ditch at home and abroad,this paper use numerical simulation method,adopt the international advanced turbulence calculation software Fluent and the gas-liquid two-phase flow VOF simulation of free surface tracking,use RNG k-? turbulence model for numerical simulation to study the hydrodynamic characteristics of water conveyance system of different lateral hole pattern systematically and analyze the influence on the flow characteristics and flow distribution of each lateral hole caused by the change of lateral hole pattern.By studying the detailed and intuitive flow field distribution,cyclotron vortex chamber,flow turbulence,turbulent kinetic energy distribution in the surface wave and the chamber,and the flow curve of each lateral hole,summarize and analyze the layout principle,Test show that the total area of lateral hole is in constant conditions,the chamber pendulous lateral hole space larger,chamber central lateral hole spacing is small and lateral hole area distribution gradually increases along the flow direction,this the two kinds of layout pattern can effectively improve the unevenness of flow distribution along chamber longitudinal in early irrigation time.And analyze each lateral hole flow in specific time,summed up the influence of lateral hole layout pattern changes on each lateral hole flow distribution,analyze the influence on the distribution rule of the chamber flow characteristics and each lateral hole flow influences caused by the changes of lateral hole layout pattern,and draw the conclusions as follows:1.When water conveyance section length of branch hole is constant,by changing lateral hole spacing of the ship lock,this paper study the orifice flow,chamber longitudinal water surface slope,chamber cross-section velocity distribution of fluctuations in the water,consider that at the beginning of irrigation,the condition 1 that the first group and the third group lateral hole spacing of 5.5m,the second group of lateral hole spacing is 4m,improve irrigation early longitudinal flow uneven of the best effect.2.The beginning of irrigation flow as a result of the role of inertia,the upstream orifice flow is greater than the downstream lateral holes,through the five lateral holes area distribution patterns were compared.The experimental,points out that the mode and that lateral hole area along the flow direction increases the distribution pattern,which is beneficial to the improvement of irrigation at the beginning of the period and a longitudinal flow uniformity can influence greatly reduce the wave forces on the ship.
