Sustainable development has become a hot spot all over the world and green building receives more and more attention. In recent years, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology have attracted more and more concern in construction industry. BIM and RFID can provide auxiliary support for green building assessment.First, this article analyzes technology specification, research background and technical characteristics of BIM and RFID, summarizes the corresponding terms which can be supported by BIM and RFID technology based on Green Building Evaluation Standard of China. Next, green building assistant evaluation method based on BIM and RFID is put forward. RFID tag ID is connected with component ID in Revit through programming, and the component in Revit corresponding to the RFID tag ID can be identified automatically by macro programming, the location and physical properties can be shown, so green building evaluation can be supported. Finally, the presented green building assistant evaluation method is verified by experiment.The presented green building assistant evaluation method based on BIM and RFID can provide support for green building evaluation.
