Current is in xiamen city rapid expansion and rapid growth of motor vehicles, the urban traffic development is in the important strategic choice for level development of public transport is imperative. And the current domestic running bus, for the most part, all is the use of diesel engine, a small number of gas and hybrid gas, so the matching diesel engine with bus design is particularly important, the processing and analysis of diesel engine fault of vehicle repair and maintenance also is of great significance. This article will from the following several aspects to the performance of the diesel engine fault handling,and low speed optimization study, aims to provide a reference for everyone of engine fault handling routine ways and means.(1) through the fault case of diesel engines, some of the key components of diesel dismantling and replacement, and road test loading of diesel engine fault, suggesting that the cause of the diesel engine failure investigation, leads to the problem of insufficient performance in the low-speed diesel engine segment;(2) by common factors are targeted investigation of low-speed performance, through to the intake and exhaust systems test testing, test analysis test comparison of the fuel system, the engine and turbocharger is working properly obtained, the failure is caused by design problems, Judgments based on experience, the paper choose to start to improve low-speed performance of the engine from the supercharger;(3) turbocharger design calculations, diesel by structural parameters of diesel set performance goals, and then calculated based on the performance goals to be achieved turbocharger performance parameters obtained performance curve, the paper selected three points as the calculation Analysis points, respectively, for the maximum speed of point 1, the maximum torque point 2, the minimum speed point 3, through a joint graph compares the performance of the turbocharger MAP and demand curve, re-selection of the turbocharger;(4) using AVL-boost turbocharger matching software simulation analysis to verify the correctness of the calculation of the turbocharger;(5) the use of re-selection had turbocharger installed for testing, to obtain characteristic curves by bench outside the fault plane and rectification machines,compared to two machines external characteristics Figure concluded: G65 turbocharger of not the performance goals, G60 supercharger to achieve performance goals.
