The Research On Peasant Self-Building Atlas Design In Jiangning, Nanjing

Starting in 20th century,Chinese rural architecture has experienced many construction wave. Corresponding to the practice of large-scale rural construction, rural housing construction competition and the publication of standard atlas is proliferating.With the improvement of living conditions in rural areas,rural people's need on the quality of life and living has been further pursued.In order to regulate the planning and management of the construction behavior of resident in Jiangning District of Nanjing City,reflected Jiangning characteristics of rural housing construction suitable mode, enhance residents building design level, guide farmers to build a safe, applicable, economic, aesthetic house,The people's Government of Jiangning District, Nanjing and Nanjing City Planning Bureau Jiangning branch organizations collect Jiangning District residents Housing Scheme solicitation contest and the compilation of the atlas work officially launched at April,2015.Its purpose is to accord with housing policy requirements of the resident can directly in the atlas select satisfactory house type construction. Under the guidance of the atlas villagers living quality can be improved, the village and the basic form control can be improved. At the same time to beautify the village environment, to bring convenience and benefits to the people, to provide services for the construction of the beautiful countryside of Jiangning.Thanks to my tutor,I had the honor to be a part of atlas compilation and the competition.My paper take new residential building in Jiangning District as the research object,through the collection and reading of the relevant literature, the use of field survey research methods,combined with the rural characteristics of Jiangning District, offered several different types of house design, and to participate in the type of design units to be selected for comparison, showing part of the atlas preparation results, and to the similar project workflow working methods from the design point of view put forward reflection and recommendations.The full text is divided into four chapters, Chapter 1:introduction; Chapter 2: Nanjing Jiangning residents self building design competition process; Chapter 3:from the competition to the deepercompilation of the atlas.
