With Chinese rapid economic development, the life of people is more and more rich, and the number of cars are rapid increase in the city. Traffic congestion and the serious pollution problem of the air have been before us in cities. In order to solve the problem of urban traffic and urban pollution, modern tram is welcomed and in-depth study of urban rail industry again. As the tram in China started relatively late, for vehicle human machine interface display and manipulate the content of the information needs to be improved, research space is very large in other aspects. The tram car human-machine interface has a lot of disadvantages, such as: human machine interface cannot reflect switch position intuitively, alarm display is not very detailed and it can’t reflect the train location information in real time. These factors directly affect the driver’s judgment, the operating efficiency of the train and passenger’s life safety. Therefore, the study of modern tram car visual human machine interface is of great significance.On the basis of old trolley car human machine interface, the experience of railway operation indoor human-computer interaction interface is absorbed in this paper, adapts to the tram operation and management requirements, and processes the theoretical research and technical analysis in detail for visual human machine interface. By analyzing the demand of the human machine interface of modern trams, the system design scheme is put forward, including system functions, interface and communication, etc. Through the establishment of simulation model and software, the whole system function module division and module function is realized. The main works are as follows:First, detailed theoretical and practical analysis is made for visual human machine interface, the specific planning and design is made from the display content, display mode and display position, and the locomotive driver needing content and functionality is realized more humane.Second, the modern tram visual human machine interface, main switch control and monitoring alarm function are studied intensively. Through the way of conduction route, the function to switch operation is realized. From the communication interface, the hardware structures, and the communication protocol, the main visual man-machine interface control switch function design is put forward.Third, modern trams automatic tracking function, speed sensorless and Beidou relative correction through no transponder on Beidou error correction function, is studied intensively. Modern trams automatic tracking function, through no transponder on GPS error correction function design of automatic tracking function of modern trams is put forward.Finally, the construction of the system software simulation environment is completed. In C++ programming environment, using MFC AppWizard to create a single document application realize the information collection, correction and train position on the man-machine interface.
