As one of the most developed areas in the Pearl River Delta and even the whole country, the demand for industrial use of electricity of Foshan is growing rapidly. In recent years, the development of the power grid has lagged behind the economic development, which has caused the regional development. 10 kV distribution is ont only the network with the user, but also the most important part of the grid. Therefore, through the distribution network layout, structure optimization, to meet the load development, has become the most concern of the ceremony in recent years, and the study of the hot issues. Based on the analysis of the existing substation and power grid in Foshan Nanhai District, the paper analyzes the load forecasting results of all the large user's demand and the government's planning, and determines the design scheme of low voltage distribution network in the center city.In order to make the construction and operation of the 10 kV distribution network in the Nanhai District Shishan Town more scientific and reasonable, more suitable for the local economic development of the Shishan Town,this paper designs the distribution network of the nest a few years. The contents of the planning include: analysis of the operation of the distribution network in the area of the Shishan Town, the new load forecasting, the technical guidance of the planning and design, and the planning and construction plan of 2020. First, the running situation of Nanhai District Shishan town, including the power grid operation and maintenance and equipment index analysis, on the statistics of power equipment operation and the use of time, the higher power load rate, transformer substation of 10 kV power outlet using the interval rate analysis. Through the calculation and analysis of the above indicators, we can get the conclusion if the structure of 10 kV distribution network is reasonable, whether the operation of the equipment is good, the layout of the transformer and the radius of the power supply are satisfied. Second, carry out the load forecast analysis according to the demand of the large customer, the government of the district planning scheme including the distribution network and the power supply of the maximum load demand, the actual use of load and other data forecast. The contents of the total power supply, power supply range, power point and the contact information of the structure were determined by the prediction structure. The analysis of the future load growth of the region is the basis of power supply and power supply division, and determine the power capacity. Finally, determine the specific new-build and the reformed program. Specific content for the higher substation power supply capacity and construction period, 10 kV line locations and transformers locations, power distribution room, switch room and other distribution network equipment positions, ultimately formate the complete planning and design, and at last form the specific library of the newly-made and the reformed projects.
