Integrated passenger transport hub is an important part of the urban integrated transport system and the key node to coordinate all kinds of transportation, ensure the convenience of passenger travel and achieve the transfer of passengers. The main traffic function of the integrated passenger transport hub is to ensure the passenger distribution and transfer efficient, convenient and comfort, research on passenger transfer is the highest priority of the center for overall planning and design. Reasonable layout of various transfer facilities can shorten the passenger walking distance, correctly guide the transfer of passengers efficient, reduce the cross interference between the traffic flow and make the inner and outer hub traffic orderly, while it is beneficial to integrate traffic resources in hub area, tap the potential of existing transport facilities, improve the whole transfer efficiency of hub and make passengers convenient and comfortable. Therefore, this paper focuses on transfer facilities layout optimization for integrated passenger transport hub.First of all, the relevant theories of integrated passenger transport hub are summarized and the development, meaning, function and classification of integrated passenger hub are analyzed, secondly, discussing the transfer system of comprehensive passenger transport hub(including transportation structure, transfer mode, transfer factors and transfer system characteristics), finally, the paper studies the concept, classification, configuration principle and scale requirements of integrated passenger transport hub transfer facilities.Secondly, the layout of transfer facilities for integrated passenger transport hub is analyzed. The main space distribution models of integrated transportation hub transfer facilities are plain air, three-dimensional and hybrid. Link and transfer layout mode of various transportation ways in hub mainly consider the cohesive arrangement of Railway passenger station, Conventional bus, Taxis and Social vehicles. On this basis, the paper analyses transfer passengers, transfer distance, transfer time, transfer facility size, level of traffic conflicts and several factors which influence the layout of transfer facilities.Thirdly, the paper studies the layout optimization of integrated passenger transport hub transfer facilities. Based on the analysis of the transfer facilities layout of integrated passenger transport hub, the factors that affect the layout of the transfer facilities are set out, firstly, the Logit model is adopted to predict the amount of transfer between the various modes of transportation in hub area, then the paper combined with the transfer volume data to allocate the different transfer facilities capacity to the transfer line in proportion to get the transfer flow, finally, the paper establishes a bi-objective layout optimization model with the minimum transfer time and the minimum traffic conflict degree and designs Elitist Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm to solve the model.Finally, an example is verified. Ruyi integrated passenger transport hub in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia is as an example to solve the 8 kinds of optimal scheme of 4 kinds of transportation station among five 5 alternate location in hub, then according to the wishes of the designers and the actual situation to choose the most satisfactory layout scheme. Through analysis the example, the rationality and practicability of the layout optimization model proposed is verified.
