With the country’s economy growing,the urbanization rate is increasing fast,and the people are gradually moving into cities.The demand for urban public transport and urban external transportation in the city is getting bigger.The major cities in the country are striving to build an integrated,open,and three-dimensional integrated passenger transportation hub to promote the same platform transfer and three-dimensional transfer.This paper analyzes the transfer layout,pedestrian characteristics,and facility characteristics,studies the conflict of pedestrians and the bottleneck in the hub using the pedestrian simulation experiments.Finally,we put forward the optimization suggestions,the main research content is as follows:(1)First,based on the transfer model,the integrated hubs are divided into four types: plane concentration type,three-dimensional concentration type,corridor transfer type,and interconnection type.Their advantages and disadvantages are compared and the suitable scenarios for each mode are put forward.After summarizing 119 integrated hubs,we find that most of the hubs are consist of trains and coaches,the transfer mode is a square-style plane transfer,with low transfer efficiency and service levels.The railwaydominated hub has the highest degree of stereo transfer,and has a closest connection with the subway and public transportation.(2)This paper summarized the characteristics of pedestrians and pedestrian facilities,include pedestrians’ space requirements,sports characteristics,behavioral preferences and facilities’ capacity.Based on the summary,the size parameters of pedestrians carrying luggage are enriched through experiment,and the concept of reliability and the calculation method was proposed.(3)The Anylogic software is used to simulate pedestrian flow conflicts and traffic facilities bottlenecks.The study found that the average delay time of people in conflict flow is related to conflict angle and conflict flow.The right-angle conflict flow is the best,and when the total traffic flow is certain,the conflict flow ratio closer to 1,the average delay time will be greater.The bottleneck of facilities is on the micro level.In addition to the reduced capacity,there will be instability as well.The bottleneck needs enough redundancy to ensure that no congestion occurs.The bottleneck of pedestrian flow is on the macro level,and a comprehensive analysis of pedestrian facilities and pedestrian traffic on the flow line is needed.(4)The optimization proposal for the hub transfer was put forward.From the macro,meso and micro levels were: optimizing the spatial layout,rationally planning traffic flow lines,optimizing the details of the facilities.And taking Wuxi integrated passenger transport hub as a research case.
