The Study About Culture Construction Of Protection And Renewal Of Lanzhou Qingcheng Old Town

Currently our country is vigorously developing cultural industries,thus in this context such ancient towns that contain rich cultural resources have become as focus of various sectors. In recent years through the reality that approved amount of historical and cultural towns and villages shapely increased,we can conclude the development efforts of ancient towns’ cultural sources have increased throughout the country, meanwhile the protection and update of ancient towns also becomes a hot research topic. In the town renovation process, we found that the first priority of interests of business development activities always leads to cultural extinction,besides there is a more covert cultural vandalism, resulting in weakened even extinct cultural characteristics of the ancient towns, and that is the behaviors only to protect the material relics as the core of the ancient town, ignoring the town cultural characteristics and folk customs.It may seem to get rid of the embarrassing situation of so called “Different town show the same appearance”,while creating another embarrassing situation of “Different town, though they have different appearance, But they show the same culture”. Material and cultural relics are precious, because the material and cultural relics show the rich cultural connotations. Both cultures show not only in the courtyard of the streets, but also demonstrated in daily life. The cultures existed in both folk customs and material relics are equally important, but we forget the real purpose of the protection and update of ancient towns. Therefore, this article is to create a cultural perspective, re-examine the development of the town’s protection and updates, as well as target to strengthen cultural characteristic of the ancient town and to shape cultural vitality, building an active culture experience zone and creating a well cultural environment for the inheritance and development of culture.In this paper, I select the historical and cultural town in Yuzhong- Qingcheng town as the actual case, re-examining the protection and updates of ancient town with the perspective of culture construction.Qingcheng is an ancient town with many cultural resources in northwest China,in where exist very beautiful natural landscapes,well historical style and features and vivid folk customs.It has distinctive cultural characteristics, the Yellow River culture, Hookah Culture, Farming and Studying culture are the most famous ones.Take born and glory of this ancient town due to the Yellow River as example,by deep digging Qingcheng’s base data,analyzing and summarizing its cultural traits from different aspects,such as nature,humanity,economy and history, accurately positioning the direction of cultural development. Strengthen the cultural identities of town by creating a series of cultural practices, and create high-quality cultural environment. By analyzing and summarizing the ancient town’s cultural tourism exploitation,eventually put forward some relevant policies and recommendations on operating the cultural town.The paper is divided into five chapters: The first chapter is prologue,discusses the research background, purpose and significance,the summary of the protection of famous historical and cultural villages and towns at home and abroad is also included.The second chapter is about some relevant concepts and theories to respectively explain the implications,contents and methods of cultural management,to analysis the definitions,contents and methods of the protection and updates of ancient town. Then combine both definitions,design elements and methods to tease out the protection and updates research structure of ancient town from the cultural construction perspective,create a method to explore.To provide further instructions on the significance and influence of cultural construction over the protection and updates of ancient town.The third chapter is the domestic and foreign case analysis,through the actual renovation cases analysis of Beijing Dashanlan,Royal Street in Song dynasty to summarize the experience of cultural construction and demonstrate the methods of cultural construction in chapter 2.In this chapter there also exists the analysis and summary of problem occured during the process of cultural construction,according to other classic renovation cases.Chapter IV is the strategy research of protection and renovation of Qingcheng town from the cultural construction perspective,this is also the most important section of this article.Re-examining the protection and update program of Qingcheng town by adopting the contents and methods of cultural construction,eventually propose the renovation strategy of Qingcheng town.First of all the culture orientation of Qingcheng town should be made,through deep analyzing on various aspects of the town’s geographic conditions, natural conditions, historical resources, administrative divisions, population status, economic status,tourism development, town landscape, cultural landscape, folk customs, summarize its cultural characteristics, and ultimately make accurate culture orientation of Qingcheng town.Through the analysis of road space, space boundary, regional space, node space and landmarks to strengthen the cultural characteristics of Qingcheng town.Through the respective analysis of town’s material elements and intangible environmental elements to conclude the strategy of the cultural and environmental construction.Finally make a combination of the tourism developmental strategy and the above-mentioned policy analysis and propose some recommendations on management of Qingcheng town.The last chapter presents the future prospect of Qingcheng town from the cultural construction perspective,this paper is based on the development analysis of Qingchen,Yuzhong,Province Gansu, creating a cultural construction perspective with arguments from levels of planning,design and management to demonstrate how to make the ancient town culture develop and preserve in a better way.Hope research results can be extended to the entire protection planning about ancient town and bring out reflection on the true meaning of the protection and updates of ancient town.
