Research On The Renewal And Development Of Qingcheng Ancient Town From The Perspective Of Cultural Tourism

With the rise of cultural tourism,ancient towns with rich historical and cultural resources have attracted attention from all sides.As a living fossil recording the evolution of human civilization,the renewal and development of ancient towns are facing many practical problems under the joint influence of current urban development needs and spatial forms.Qingcheng Ancient Town is a famous historical and cultural town at the provincial level.Up to now,it still retains a complete and exquisite Ming and Qing ancient architectural complex,known as the "living fossil of the Northwest Ancient Residential Architecture".Literatures and businessmen gathered in successive dynasties,forming a unique Qingcheng culture.With the passage of time,the traditional spatial form and pattern of Qingcheng ancient town are gradually difficult to meet the new functional needs.At present,the bottleneck problems encountered in the development of many small and medium-sized ancient towns are also common problems,such as the ambiguous theme of the town,the lack of rich development levels,the imperfect investment mechanism,the lack of funds for tourism development,the lack of infrastructure construction and so on.Therefore,the author chooses Qingcheng Ancient Town as the research starting point,and explores how to develop cultural tourism on the premise of protecting the ancient town,and how to complete the renewal of the ancient town while developing cultural tourism as the key to enhance the value of the ancient town in Qingcheng.Based on the theories of architecture,urban planning and other related disciplines such as statistics and management,this paper explores the renewal and development of Qingcheng ancient town from the perspective of cultural tourism by means of literature review,field investigation,case analysis and graphic illustration.Firstly,the author collates and analyses the concepts,theories and policies related to "cultural tourism" and "historic towns" at home and abroad,and comprehensively reviews the development status of cultural tourism and the renewal and protection of historic and cultural towns as the theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly,it combs the basic general situation,industrial composition,social background and planning progress of Qingcheng,sums up the elements of cultural tourism resources of ancient towns with scientific classification standards,and combs the overall spatial form and architectural characteristics of Qingcheng ancient towns,as well as the current situation of cultural tourism protection and utilization,by using the method of surface-line-point(i.e.,settlement-street-building)layer by layer dismantling.At the same time,it briefly reviews the development course,management status,tourists' behavior characteristics and preferences,and the competition and cooperation relationship of the surrounding areas of ancient town cultural tourism.On this basis,it systematically summarizes the bottlenecks in the process of ancient town renewal and cultural tourism development.Finally,the author tries to extract the renewal strategy reference through the study of a large number of ancient town cases similar to Qingcheng,and select the two most representative case points for a brief analysis.Then it puts forward the renewal and development strategy of Qingcheng ancient town from three aspects: the renewal of the functions of the ancient town,the protection of the texture of the ancient town and the remodeling of the shape of the ancient town.At the same time,it puts forward some suggestions on the coordinated promotion of the relevant safeguard measures.To discuss the renewal and development of ancient towns in the context of cultural tourism is not only to provide suggestions and suggestions for the development of Qingcheng ancient towns,but also to provide reference for the research of similar topics in academic circles.
