Ancient town is a place where China's cultural heritage is more concentrated,has a high value of historical-cultural.Town is a miniature of urban development,but also a generation's memory,which hide in their heart deeply.It has a special charm,It is home for people who live there.For wandering outside,it is hometown.Accompanied with the process of tourism development and urbanization,There're so many ancient towns and traditional countries had lost their original style and features,the characteristics of the local-style,dwelling houses building and traditional customs are the demise of the step by step.Historical culture appear fault,traditional custom is not continuing,which really let a person feel sorry.Many existing historical town,are based on the tourism development strategic plan for its protection,the protection mechanism is mainly based on economic value scale.For the high cultural value of the ancient town,the protection is limited,it has many blind spots.As established as the new heritage type of cultural landscape,world heritage protection idea changed,which from the protection of traditional single cultural relics and ancient architecture development to protect the surrounding environment integrity.According to the classification standard of the world cultural landscape heritage,history town can be defined as the organic succession of sustainability cultural landscape.So based on the perspective of cultural landscape,seeing the ancient town as a cultural landscape heritage,research on the cognitive and protection of it,can make up for the protection of ancient cultural landscape heritage,fresh blood for the conservation of ancient town.CiCheng is a historical-cultural town of China,has a history of 2500 years' founding,1200 years' county,retained a lot of precious historical and cultural landscape,now under the background of urbanization and tourism development,the protection and development of the ancient town existing many problems.Based on the theoretical and practical background,this paper research topic is that: Research on cognitive and protection of CiCheng town based on the cultural landscape.Which aims to apply the cultural landscape theory to the cognition and protection of the town of Cicheng.Expanding its protection perspective,improving the protection mechanism.So that the town can be protected at the same time,but also sustainable development for the same kind of historical villages and towns to provide a reference for the protection and development.Based on the thesis,this research mainly discusses in three parts:The first part: Define the concept and classification of cultural landscape in Chinese context,and further discusses the classification and composition of cultural landscapes in historical-cultural villages and towns;Chapter 1: Analyzes the background of each topic,and determines the object,purpose and significance.Introducing the domestic and foreign related theoretical research of historical-cultural villages and towns,cultural landscape and Cixi town,Identify research content,methods and overall framework.Chapter 2: Analyzing the feasibility of the introduction of cultural landscape perspective,,Points out the problem of the fuzzy concept and combined with the philosophy of Chinese and western different cultural background understanding of the cultural landscape,based on the definition of world heritage cultural landscapes,expand its connotation and value,and puts forward the concept of cultural landscape in Chinese.Chapter 3: analyzes the domestic and international cultural landscape classification research,finally adopted Mr.Shan Jixiang's eight classification methods of cultural landscape,and further defined the elements and categories of cultural landscapes in historical villages and towns.Repute that Cicheng town belongs to the city cultural landscape,including three elements: Natural environment,Urban construction folk,Cultural atmosphere.which are both elements and factors.The interaction of the three forms produce a tangible Three-dimensional cultural landscape vector system and a invisible Cultural thought value system.In order to facilitate the protection of research,and further disintegrate the two systems,Three-dimensional cultural landscape vector system can be divided into: regional cultural landscape,settlement environment landscape,spatial location landscape,architectural landscape,folk behavior landscape;Cultural value system can be divided into: Cultural customs,Emotional values,Spiritual values.The second part is the study of cognition and evaluation of the town of Cicheng;Chapter 4: using the theoretical results of cultural landscape concept,composition and classification,cognize and analysis the ancient town's cultural landscape from the cultural landscape elements of the succession and composition of two aspects.Chapter 5: On the basis of the full cognition of the cultural landscape of the town of Cicheng,put forward the value elements in the cultural value system,and identified the six value elements of culture: emotion,economy,science,nature and aesthetics.which setting by questionnaires.Making a qualitative evaluation on the five kinds of cultural landscape of the three-dimensional carrier system.Combined with the succession of cultural landscape,extracting long-term,combined with the true and integrity value of the World Heritage standards,Determine the three measurement elements: long-term degree,truth degree,integrity degree,Quantitative assessment of Three-dimensional vectors.Comprehensive qualitative and quantitative assessment to build the cultural landscape's evaluation system of ancient town,Analyzing the existing problems of cultural landscape according to the evaluation.The third part is to study the protection of Cixi town practice and research summaryChapter 6: According to the previous evaluation results,combined with the status of protection planning.To determine the protection objectives,principles and ideas,Research on the protection of five kinds of cultural Landscape carriers in ancient town by using the theory of landscape architecture and cultural heritage protection.To achieve the ancient town of cultural landscape awareness and protection,so that the ancient town of history and culture to be
