Negative radius roller cam mechanism with floating push rod is a combinatorial innovation which consists of floating pushrod-cam combined mechanism and negative radius-cam mechanism.So the new type of mechanism takes both performance and advantages of two types of mechanism.Compared with single basic type of mechanism,researches on new mechanism are limited and the results are extremely rare.This thesis analyses four constraint conditions of negative radius roller cam mechanism with floating push rod.Build the dimension analysis and synthesis theory/software/VP based on the four constraints.Several researches were carried out as follows:(1)Four constraint conditions,namely motion connectivity condition,transmission performance condition,motion fidelity condition and contract strength condition,were presented.Performance evaluation system,as well as performance evaluation indexes and analytical criterions,were constructed based on the corresponding four constraint conditions;(2)By building unified mapped domains and complicated multiple couples of performance evaluation indexes faced on dimensional synthesis,laws of mapping were found in several performance evaluation indexes and dimension parameters.Then giving an optimal design of this cam mechanism and achieving a compact mechanism meeting the constraint conditions;(3)Developed visualization software based on the dimension analysis and synthesis theory.Taking this opportunity,automated and visual design of mechanical dimensional synthesis was achieved;(4)Based on the analysis and synthesis theory and the software system,a three-dimension solid model as well as a virtual prototype was established to simulate and verify the correctness and validity of the theory and software system.By completely research on the analysis and synthesis theory of objective mechanism,complicated multiple couples of performance evaluation indexes between several basic size parameters of negative radius roller cam mechanism with floating push rod,we reach series of innovative conclusions.They have important theoretical value and practical significance of pushing engineering application of organizational object-mechanism.
