The cam mechanisms with negative radius follower have innovative structures and mechanical properties.The cam is included in the roller,so it has an internal contact,large integrative radius of curvature and small surface contact stress.Obviously the contact strength,bearing capacity and working life has a more significantly improvement than the traditional cam mechanism.Therefore,making a research and exploration of the cam mechanism structure,performance and experimental test has a great significance in its theoretical value and the prospect of engineering application.Taken the cam mechanism with negative radius follower as research objects,this article establishes the performance simulation experimental platform and the performance testing experimental platform.The performance simulation experimental platform is,first designing basic size of cam mechanisms and the structure of cam mechanisms,then making use of Pro/E software and ADAMS software to establish the virtual prototype model of cam mechanisms and comes simulation data.The performance testing experimental platform is establishing the hardware structure and software structure of the test system.The hardware system include sensor,data acquisition card,and the PXI system and their model selection,and the manufacture of test bench.The software system is making use of LabVIEW2015 to develop the special visual software of test system and complete the acquisition,processing,storing and displaying of the speed,displacement and acceleration data.Through the research above,the study on the performance simulation and experimental test of the cam mechanism with negative radius follower is accomplished.And it provides an important theoretic basis for the study of the cam mechanism.
