| With the development of the Internet, people’s production and living style has been greatly changed. Advanced Internet technology is applied to all walks of life, which greatly promotes the development of traditional industries. The use of information service platform is becoming one of the common ways of information service industry because of the rapid development of informationization.Information service platform has the advantage of using the Internet to focus on the function of the information storage industry, which helps to break the information island and share information data. However, existing platforms are not able to meet the demand of companies and users completely. For shipbuilding enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, technology innovation is difficult due to limitation of capital and human resources. It is unable to improve efficiency and reduce cost when multitudes of enterprises still use the traditional shipbuilding technology. Additionally, the lack of access domain experts is difficult to get into contact with the frontier in the field of technological achievements. For shipbuilding institutions and universities, because of the lack of targeted platforms for promotion of technological achievements and cooperation with enterprises, applying innovative technology is tough. In this paper, a information service platform of shipbuilding technology is designed according to these needs.The topic of this paper is derived from the project of Huludao productivity promotion center, which needs to use Internet technology to meet regional shipbuilding demand. Firstly, the paper analyzes the research status at home and abroad, and then introduces the research background, purpose, significance and necessity of the information service platform Next, the paper discusses Internet technologies which are used in the information service platform, including ASP.NET technology for achieving the dynamic pages, HTML and CSS technology for web interface design and B/S software structure model.In the demand design period, the internet users classified into several groups according to various functional permissions. After functional analysis of foreground and background requirements,function structure diagrams are detailed described. In the detailed design phase, B/S structure is chosen as the back-office functions demand modules and database tables is designed in the database design phase, which are the base on the designed overall architecture of the platform. Finally, in the development stage, development environment and runtime environment are introduced and the interface design process and principles are expounded. In the implementation stage of the module development,different function modules with flow chart and code snippets are introduced in details.Information service platform of shipbuilding technology is to make use of mature computer and Internet technology. The platform will promote crossover and integration between marine engineering industry and the Internet, whose purpose is to use high-tech technology raise the efficiency of the development of shpbuilding industry.
