With the rapid development of science and technology, more and more electronic devices, such as communication equipment, navigation equipment, and various information systems based on computer network installed in the vehicle which leading to greatly improved possibilities of electromagnetic interference. Take consideration of other natural factors, the electromagnetic environment that the vehicle live in is getting more and more complicated. Normal operation of the electronic information systems installed in the vehicle are greatly threatened under the severe electromagnetic environment, improve interference prediction and design capability, to avoid electromagnetic compatibility problems, and to strengthen the electromagnetic environmental adaptability of vehicle electronic information systems has become widespread concern. Thus, this study takes in-vehicle electronic information systems as research object and electromagnetic environmental adaptability performance evaluation as research objective. The electromagnetic environmental adaptability evaluation index system is established, and the comprehensive assessment on in-vehicle electronic information system's electromagnetic environmental adaptability is realized. To begin with, the key factors that influence the system's electromagnetic environmental adaptability performance are analyzed. Based on the index system constructing procedure, the associations among all factors are studied by analyzing three aspects, including interference source, coupling path and sensitive equipment, and the in-vehicle electronic information system's electromagnetic environmental adaptability index system is established. Then based on the networked layered structure of the established index system, a universal model of assessment is proposed, ANP method is selected to obtain weights. According to the shortcomings, DEMATEL method is introduced to improve the traditional ANP method, after which modified ANP-TOPSIS comprehensive assessment method is adopted to assess the in-vehicle electronic information system's electromagnetic environmental adaptability comprehensively. Finally, based on the assessment method and established index system, according to Multiple Attribute Decision Making Theory, practical example is carried out to verify the feasibility and practicability of the evaluation method and the index system this research mentions.
