In recent years, frequent gun-related accident gives some threat to the personal safety of policeman and citizens. This also reflects a fact that some loophole and unreasonable regulations still exist in the gun management. It's of great significance to invent an integrated platform of intelligent gun cabinet which will improve gun management and insure safety of using guns and implement of “Double Lock”. The integrated platform can insure centralized custody and separate preservation of firearms and ammunition, and can realize the function of real-time monitoring, remote assistance operation, fingerprint identification, etc… This will improve the efficiency of routine work as well as ensure safety and reliability.In this thesis, the research mainly from the following aspects. First introducing the intelligent gun cabinet management system, its working principle and using process. Then the hardware circuit is further analyzed, and the Android operating system is transplanted on the ARM chip. For Android system, its powerful UI interface, open source code and flexible framework makes it easier to develop applications. Finally, developing application based on system, to add the corresponding drive for each hardware function module, through the upper application and network command to realize the function of demand, so as to achieve the overall design.Android system transplantation, the contents of the transplant for the u-boot, Linux kernel and Android file system. After power on the target board, u-boot is the first implementation of the program. The main function is to initialize the hardware, setting software environment and ready for the kernel boot. By configuration of relevant file code to support the target board. For the transplant of the linux kernel, the source of code from web site is to configured and cut, setting to support the necessary drive so that the drive can be generated in the directory of the corresponding node. Android system transplant to create a standard library is foundation to application development.The thesis focuses on the file system of the transplant, which relates to the cross compile environment and the transplantation of drive. Finally, the v4l2 used in the embedded Android application to do a detailed introduction and analysis, and then the application to download the target board to do verification.
