The power industry is one of the basic energy industries in China. The safe, stable and reliable operation of power system in our country has a close relationship with the various sectors of the national economy, and it is also closely related to our daily life. Today is the age of the Internet, we still have a growing demand for power, the power grid construction projects has become the cornerstone of the electric power industry. Especially the expansion of power grid construction projects in recent years, the speed and scale is in constant growth, of benefit to the national economic and social development also requires a high level of power grid construction projects to meet the development trend of now. Therefore, power grid construction project post-evaluation work has the very important theoretical and practical significance. In an power grid construction project, it is not difficult to find the actual benefit is under the initial forecast benefit frequently, some projects even cannot meet the design capacity for a long time. These are the investment in the project management problems to be solved like how to make scientific evaluation for the completed project, how to summarize the experiences and lessons or distinguish the responsibility, how to improve the decision-making level and management level in later project construction.This paper elaborated the selected topic background and significance, research status at home and abroad and the research content and purpose; Secondly illustrates the related concepts of power grid construction project post-evaluation, on the basis of summarizing the research literature at home and abroad to introduce the main content of the power grid construction evaluation; Discusses the construction of power grid construction project again after the content of the evaluation index system and method, mainly introduces the empowerment method based on gray based rough sets theory; Combined with the particularity of power grid construction project post-evaluation index, after considering the quantitative characteristics of the evaluation index, the grey theory is introduced into the power grid construction project evaluation process, after using grey evaluation method based on triangular whitenization weight function; At last, for example proved that evaluation method is feasible and effective.Research results show that through to the power grid construction projects after the reasonable and effective evaluation work, for power grid construction project manager’s decision to provide more comprehensive support, two kinds of different evaluation model is established by use of grey theory, according to the evaluation model of power grid construction project post-evaluation conclusion, for the power grid construction project post-evaluation provides a more scientific method, for the power grid construction project management decision makers to provide certain theoretical basis.
