Study On The Optimization Of Urban Commuter Traffic

Commuter traffic occupies the first place in the urban traffic, it is the foundation of urban traffic travel. Good commuter traffic pattern can contribute to relieve urban traffic congestion. In the process of transportation planning, if commuter travel distance can be controlled within a certain range by taking some measures, it will reduce the burden of the urban traffic greatly, and improve the efficiency of the whole transportation system. Therefore, the paper takes the urban commuter traffic as the research object, to explore the distribution characteristics of commuter traffic in urban space and put forward corresponding strategies.From the perspective of urban development and personal travel psychology, this paper tries to build a nested logit model of residents'commuting travel modes choice based on the survey of urban residents' commuting behavior. At the same time, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the research, the dynamic effect mechanism between the commuter traffic characteristics, residents'living-working behavior and the development trend of the commuter traffic is been analyzed.Secondly, the concept of optimal urban commuting distance and its calculation method are proposed on the basis of a clear connotation of Job-Housing Balance to make the urban commuter district division standards. Besides, a comprehensive evaluation system of commuting traffic status is constructed according to the PSR evaluation framework for urban commuting traffic. The comprehensive evaluation indicators of commuting traffic are also proposed while the formula and evaluation grading standards of each indicator are given in the paper. By using interval AHP method, a comprehensive evaluation model is established to support the research on Optimization of urban commuter traffic.Finally, through case study, the optimization and improvement strategies of urban commuter traffic are summarized. And taking Yixing city as an example to support the theory of the thesis and prove the operability and practicability of the research methods and techniques proposed before.
