Cooperative Game Theory Approach For Aircraft Ground Deicing Operation Scheduling

Aircraft ground deicing operation is the process for the airliners to remove the ice, frost and snow on the surface of aircrafts before departure. Meanwhile, inefficiency of deicing operation is the proximate cause which results in a large-scale delay of airliners. So, the scheduling and optimizing have been proved to be the key problem which has a great influence on the quality and efficiency of aircraft ground deicing. In the ice and snow weather condition, the deicing resources(such as deicing bays and slots) are so limited in terms of the crowding airliners that the allocation efficiency of resources should be reduced without a fair and highly active scheduling method. The paper will find out the method to improve the current deicing situation in deicing congested circumstance.To solving problems of Multi-Agent coordination in the past insufficient research, the cooperative game-theoretic analysis method is adopted for the solution of deicing resources contesting, and the coalition game based aircraft ground deicing operation modeling was established that based on the aircraft ground deicing process analyzing in this paper. The resources allocation method of Shapley value approach for airlines' coalition is proposed and then had been improved according to the indefinability of Shapley value. Finally, the Matlab software is used for simulating the coalition game. The domestic departures data of Beijing Capital International Airport is used for simulation experiments. The results show that the cooperation game model efficaciously encouraged the cooperative behavior in the coalition,and resources allocating method based on Shapley value approach satisfies both the individual rationality and group rationality, which outperforms the ordinary scheduling strategy. A new strategy is proposed for the plan and scheduling of aircraft deicing resources.
