The Application Of Traditional Architectural Decoration In The Modern Environment

Decorative symbols of our traditional architectural embodies rich ancient concept and profounds Chinese traditional culture. From the view of the communicational features of symbols,the traditional architectural decoration provides theoretical basis for the inheritance and development of the rich concept in these decoration symbols,which are theoretically supportive to apply the traditional symbols into the modern environment art design,and also provide a solution for the problems in design.Based on this perspective,this study spread the research on applying Da yuwan traditional architectural decoration to the residential environment design of East Light in Shiyan.The study aimed at providing a way to enhance the cultural connotations of modern residential environment and innovative approaches on the design of modern residential environment.It is discussed in three aspects:the feature of traditional architectural decoration;the ways of applying traditional architectural decoration to modern design;the connotation of Da yuwan traditional architectural decoration,which will get a rule.This rule provides the basis for applying traditional architectural decoration into modern design,which can enhance the environmental cultural connotation and solve the problems of the lack of cultural connotation in it.
