Research On The Decoration Of Wu Temple In Hong’an

Hong’an Wu Temple is a precious legacy in traditional Hubei folk houses.It has more than 200 years of construction history.Its grand scale and architectural decoration are exquisite,with high artistic value and historical value.But for a long time,although after several repairs,but still few people interested,for the study of Wu Temple decoration is very lacking.The article focuses on its most outstanding architectural decoration by studying various aspects of the Hong’an Wu Temple,including the historical background of the ancestral temple and the origins of the clan.The decoration parts and features are analyzed and classified.Then further digging the cultural connotations behind the ancestral temple architectural decoration,a deeper understanding of the architectural decoration that has been circulating in residential architecture for centuries.Based on the research of Wu Temple architectural decoration case,this article arouses the people’s attention to the traditional dwelling houses and contributes to the subsequent application of traditional dwelling houses’ protection and traditional dwelling modernization.In addition,the article uses computer software to depict the architectural decoration in Wu temple and seeks 100% reduction.The valuable information on the architectural decoration of Hong’an Wu Temple is recorded so as to provide more detailed information for follow-up researchers.
