According to the requirement of MOR, Qishuyan locomotive company introduced a type of HXN5 high-power diesel engine locomotive. Qishuyan locomotive company localization the whole locomotive, had been produced 600 set locomotives and the localization percentage have upon 85%. The crankshaft as the key part of engine is a big problem for localization.Crankshaft is one of the most important parts of the diesel engine, it will withstand complex variable load at word condition. It stiffness, fatigue strength and machine precision are the most important factors to ensure the reliability of the engine. The crankshaft material C50E29 high-performance steel is GE's internal standards, this material has not been used in china, so we can not know the cutting performance of this material. Characteristics of the material is viscous, high hardness, difficult to process, especially in the inner corner of the composite Crankshaft machining, the surface roughness is difficult to achieve, and prone to pick marks, stress concentration, because the composite fillet fatigue fracture at one of the main forms of crankshaft failure, therefore, this article will use within the complex fillets paper processing as the main subject, on the base of the original machine process, combined with the current status of the company, through technological innovation, new technology introduction, solve quality problems, improve production efficiency and reduce costs. The main contents of the article are as follows:First, According to the crankshaft machining status of domestic and abroad combine the actual situation of the company, analyzing the Crankshaft complex fillet appears in machining quality issues.Second, Establish a test proposal of C50E29 ultrahigh-strength steel alloy steel milling. This test are focus on cutting forces, chip morphology, tool wear and breakage, and surface roughness, etc., and then analysis the relevant test.Third, Base on the test, use contour cutter to verify the test on milling machining center.Finally, Use the rolling process options for resolving the rounded surface of the grave within a composite connection marks, the surface roughness is not achievement situation, stable product quality, increase production efficiency.This article use the proposal of high-speed and efficient machine for contour milling, solve the key problem on crankshaft machining process. It is the first time use CNC process to control rolling cutter on the processing and milling machining centers. It solved the problem in addition increased the product quality and produce efficient,reduce the produce cost, step up the localization process,further improve the manufacture lever of our company and cut down the difference between our company to international company.
