Study On Landscape Characters Assessment And Design Of Genghis Khan Town

Chinese rural areas are vast, but their development level is always weaker than urban areas, so China is vigorously promoting urban and rural integration development strategies, so as to promote rapid and healthy development of rural economy and society, meet new rural property, and build a better rural planning system.Although rural areas are going through a rapid development period, there are still many problems and challenges worth to investigate and research, such as the loss of regional characteristics of the rural landscape style and the destruction of the ecological environment.In this paper, Genghis Khan town has been chosen as the research object to conduct empirical analysis. By researching the design techniques of green rural landscape style in freezing area, the shortcomings of previous theoretical approach has been improved, existing rural planning connotation has been enriched, which would lay a certain foundation for the research of the standardization and systematization of the green village landscape style planning in cold regions, promote and improve the existing urban and rural planning system.Genghis Khan town is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia plateau, which in the Zhalantun city who has the reputation of "North Suzhou". Genghis Khan town is back in Greater Khingan Range, it has lush trees, abundant natural resources, fertile soil, mild climate, unique minority culture and winter landscape resources. For its landscape features, it is very representative.By means of Landscape Characters Assessment, visual diversity, natural regulation, and geographical artificial was chosen as evaluation factors. These three evaluation factors can be further landscape type diversity, landscape richness, green vegetation coverage, species richness, places of historic interest and scenic beauty preservation. Through landscape characters assessment of Genghis Khan town, the landscape feature classification of Genghis Khan town can be concluded, and the unique landscape features within each partition can be analyzed. Based on field survey and analysis of a series of basic data, the landscape features of Genghis Khan town were classified, which would provide the basis for the planning of landscape planning in Genghis Khan town.Finally, according to landscape policy classification and field situation of Genghis Khan town, overall, regional coordinated and flexible landscape planning measures were put forward for different regions, which will help for the sustainable and healthy development of landscape ecology in Genghis Khan town.
