Research On The Navigation Technology Of The Vehicle Navigation System Based On ARM Platform

With the rapid development of computer technology, semiconductor materials,electronic circuits, sensors and other modern high-tech technology, the vehicle navigation technology has become the focus of attention of intelligent life. Meanwhile, the steady development of embedded ARM technology, intelligent operating system detonated a new revolution in the wisdom of life, both greatly improving the human interaction of electronic hardware.First of all, the paper builds the software and hardware platform of navigation system.The construction and use of the Android system and the Linux operating system are discussed in depth. Build the Ubuntu development environment, customize Linux kernel,Android source code and the root file system, and transplanted Android system to the S5PV210 processor as the core of the hardware platform successfully.Then, drive the GPS module. Select ZTE GPS GR-87 module, analysis of GPS transmission protocol and Android architecture of GPS module, describe how the GPS data is applied to the Android application interface, and the HAL driver layer of the GPS module is studied.Finally, the embedded ARM vehicle navigation system is tested. Through the gps_test software, the function test of the vehicle navigation GPS module is carried out, the complete correspondence of the receiving message and the test software is realized, and the GPS module driver is completed. Using third party map software to achieve the current position to the target location of vehicle navigation.This paper completes the driving of GPS core module and the application of vehicle navigation map in the Android operating system. For the further development and utilization of the Android operating system, it has high practical significance.
