Consumers need more and more personalized automobiles which leads to more and more products and variants occurred with the continuously developing of automobile industry. As one of the most important components, OEM demands higher functionality, comfort, safety and appearance. Seat manufacturing plant always operates in the way of large volume and mixed assembly. So how to make good line balance(means how to distribute all tasks to each workstation) is very important which can improve product quality and strengthen employees' enthusiasm. Thus, establish a reasonable and standard plan method is necessary and important.People always judge the process just based on self-experience in traditional theory and technology, and this method has lower efficacy and less of objectivity and science, and assessment of process just can be carry on after all facility and process complete. In order to avoid these disadvantages, this article study on standard work-time, line balance theory, genetic algorithm theory and simulation, and build the MODAPTS work-time system, line balance mode, and modified and improved traditional GA method. Standard work-time is the base data of multi-assembly line mode, and GA programme which is made of Matlab tools is more efficient for computer to calculate, and the best solver from GA is input of simulation mode, this will make simulation precisely and correctly. In the end verify the modules based on the very mixed assembly line. All the model and method established a more efficient and science method.
