Civil engineering structures in high winds, earthquakes, waves and other external excitation, easy to produce a vibration, affect the structure of safety and comfort, in order to reduce or inhibit structure due to caused by dynamic load response, classical TMD for structural vibration control, the main structural vibration energy was transferred to additional TMD and aroused TMD, the amplitude is much larger than the main structure. If such energy dissipating element is replaced with the function of collecting energy transducer, or in between the main structure and additional TMD relative displacement increase pressure transducer or electromagnetic transducer component, the main structure of the vibration energy can very good conversion to electricity can. Based on the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) 'for the subject source, to carry out the system research and simulation analysis of combination of energy collection and structure damping. Research contents and results include:(1) the background and the current situation of energy collection, energy collection and structural vibration control in China and abroad are introduced.(2) The composition and operation principle of the energy harvesting device designed in this paper are briefly introduced, and the basic model of the combination of the energy collection unit and the traditional tuned mass damper is simply described.(3) Through a lot of experiment under different conditions in Hunan University of science and technology MTS material testing machine, two kinds of linear rolling guide rail of the mechanical properties to were complete analysis, obtained two different linear rolling guide and the mechanical components and related linear rolling guide, a mechanical model was put forward. By comparing the calculated values withthe experimental values, the accuracy of the model is verified by comparing the calculated values with the experimental values.(4) The basic mathematical model of the motor is introduced, the mechanical model of the energy gathering unit and the Simulink model are established, and the influence of the parameters on the mechanical properties and the state of energy collection are analyzed by simulation.(5) Establish the electromagnetic energy collection unit and the traditional tuned mass damper combined to set type tuned mass damper(E-TMD) model and dynamics equation. That in the response of seismic wave through the analysis system can effectively carry out structural vibration and energy harvesting, to achieve double performance.
