In recent years, as the urban development booming, the emphasis on the mobile traffic and the ignorance of the pedestrian has led to the sharp deterioration of the pedestrian environment, also exacerbated the health problems in the city, which is the focus of this study. In the development of the urban pedestrian and bicycle network,problems like the scale imbalance, pedestrian and bicycle network fragmentation, lack of humanistic care and loss of public space spirit have arised. Under the situation of global low-carbon economy development, the green commuting and low carbon traffic have been widely concerned, slow traffic was developed worldwide under the influence of the healthy city concept, slow traffic oriented appeared to be the trend of development.Modern urban planning and public health issues are closely related, with the continuous development of the subject, they went to the reintegration from the divisio n, and pedestrian and bicycle has also experienced a "leading--decline--return--re dominate " of course, the pedestrian and bicycle network as one of the elements of the environme nt structures and as an important part of healthy urban planning, was inextricably linked with the public health(Chapter 2). China's development of the green pedestrian and bicycle network has a good policy, material, practical basis, but also has a problem of the car domination and the pedestrian and bicycle ignorance(third chapter).The study attempts to take an analysis of the green pedestrian and bicycle network space characteristic from the two aspects of goal oriented(pedestrian and bicycle principal part), demand oriented(pedestrian and bicycle action), put forward the green pedestrian and bicycle network design principles of the healthy urban oriented(the fourth chapter),and based on this,introduce the design method of “small scale pedestrian and bicycle Network”and” dominate leisure pedestrian and bicycle system”.using the technology of network attributes analysis and the method of environmental behavior analysis,established the street grid model for pedestrian and bicycle network and daily life, enhance the connectivity and reachability of pedestrian and bicycle network, comfort?safty and ornamental of pedestrian and bicycle environment, creating a pedestrian and bicycle path conditions, set up to meet the healthy city green slow network model(the fifth chapter). Finally applicated the green pedestrian and bicycle network design method in Chongqing Municipality Dadukou Jianqiao industrial park district urban design example(Chapter 6), and put forward the further content and insufficient of the research."Healthy city" consist three factors:healthy population, healthy environmental and healthy social relations, under the guidance of healthy city concept, the study takes the pedestrian and bicycle priority as the foundation, takes the health of population, environment and society as the goal, hope to encourage more pedestrian and bicycle action by construct green pedestrian and bicycle network, to promote the city's healthy development.
