Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of national economy and the depth of openness, the convenience of transportation system has been put in a higher position. In recent years, with the advantages of convenience and quickness, the civil aviation transportation system plays an increasingly important role in the national transportation systems. The model of airline routes in China has developed from the early simple ones, which is point to point to that of the characteristics of hub-and-spoke, which it`s already a typical and complex giant airline system. The study of the route network has a certain value and significance for the reasonable planning and optimization of Chinese route network. Complex networks theory is a new kind of theoretical study of complex systems, which exerts a certain value in the further understanding of complex systems and solving complex system problems. The researches,using the complex network theory to analyze civil aviation transportation system, which emerge in recent years, have played a significant role to understand and solve practical problems. The complex network theory is the method of using schema to abstract China’s civil aviation transportation system, which is also for the real network model to study our country’s civil aviation transportation system. And it employs the method of statistical physics to spread topological structure research of network features. Consequently, we can put forward valuable countermeasures and suggestions to the real aviation system planning.Aviation congestion has been a real problem of the civil aviation transportation system,which results delayed flights, passengers` complaints and other issues. And it exerts a certain degree of damage to the operating entities of the management benefit and causes the waste of resources. In order to further the analysis of the air traffic congestion, this paper uses complex network theory to analyze our country’s civil aviation transportation system, which takes the city as a network node, and the route connection between cities as a network edge to abstract China aviation network model, hereinafter referred to as aviation network. On the basis of the research of aviation network structure, further analyze the air traffic congestion problem with centricity theory.Studies have found that aviation network structure has the characteristics of small-world and scale-free properties, aviation network is a heterogeneous network, in which some keynodes and edges exist and play more important functional roles in supporting network running.Those nodes and edges are carrying a relatively large air volume and it` easy for traffic jam to appear. The paper use centricity theory to analyze nodes and edges, which easy to cause network congestion and play important roles in the running of aviation system. And use further simulation methods to analyze the change of network performance after the air traffic congestion. Finally the paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to reduce air traffic congestion in Centricity perspective.
