Chengdu-Lanzhou expressway is built by the state in order tospeed up infrastructure construction, raise the level of national highway, speed up infrastructure construction, improve regional traffic conditions and investment environment and promote regional economic development along the route. Chuanzhusi to Chuanganjie section located in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, is the main channel to Chengdu, the provincial capital of Sichuan province, has important social and economic value. The complex terrain, changeable engineering geological conditions and prone geological hazards put forward a crucible of the route layout.This thesis takes Chuanzhusi to Chuanganjie section as the research scope, engineering geologic condition as research object, analyses and summarizes the development law of all engineering geological factors of the section by fieldwork and data collection. Then, the nine major factors, including fault, fold, groundwater, landslide, collapse-talus, unstable rock-debris flow, ground motion peak acceleration, landform and engineering geological petrofabric are identified as evaluation factors of engineering geologic condition to establish the index system of zoning evaluation on engineering geologic condition and quantificating each index according to their effect on engineering geologic condition.Besed on the index system, evaluation layers are created and rasterized and then used for Spatial overlay by GIS; the weights of each evaluation factors are computed by expert evaluating method and AHP, zoning evaluation on engineering geologic condition of Chengdu-Lanzhou expressway Chuanzhusi to Chuanganjie section is completed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and zoning evaluation map is charted. The engineering geologic condition of Chuanzhusi to Chuanganjie section is divided into three levels: good engineering geological condition zone, moderate engineering geological condition zone and poor engineering geological condition zone. According to the result, six design route plans are compared and selected, and recommended route plan is put foward.
