It is necessary to get engineering geological stratigraphic divided in engineeringinvestigation. But lithology and sedimentary rhythm is considered the most in engineeringgeological stratigraphic division before. The engineering geological stratigraphic division isbased on people who do this. There is two problems of this method:①different engineershave their own habits and experience. This could make different stratigraphic division results;②Engineers consider lithology and sedimentary rhythm most, sometimes they ignore themechanical properties of soil. Engineering geological stratigraphic division is done byprogramming. Then use the program in Shijiazhuang area, the results show:①Fuzzycomprehensive evaluation is good at evaluating multivariate problems;②using fuzzycomprehensive evaluation in engineering geological stratigraphic division, considers nationalstandard of soil classification most and mechanical properties of soil as well. So theengineering geological stratigraphic division is scientific and practicality;③solvinggeological problems through the mathematical ways is objective. Compare the two ways ofmaking standardized stratigraphic, it can be found that:①standardized stratigraphicdivision based on digital technology is more mechanization, but it can reflect the realcondition of underground;②more and more works should be done to improve the digitalway.It is an attempt to divide the stratigraphic through digital ways, a little success isachieved. This paper is useful to develop engineering geological stratigraphic divisionmethod.
