Forklift truck is one kind of widely used engineering machineries,and it plays an important role in engineering constructions,including in railway,highway,architecture,water and electricity,port and harbor,national defense,etc.Lifting bar of forklift truck is an important part of safety structure for protecting driver 's safety.When forklift truck works and the goods are falling,it can better ensure the safety of drivers.Forklift vehicle 's rollover stability is also affected in the process.Overhead guard ' s search and development will encounter these problems such as security and shape design: overhead guard requires safety at the same time,the overall shape is necessary to meet the public ' s aesthetics,and its structure must be compact and reasonable.In order to solve the above problem,in this article one kind of unitary lifting bar of forklift truck is researched and designed.Its main contents and results are as follows:1.After researching structure of current circular lifting bar of forklift truck,forklift truck trial was conducted according to ISO6055 Technical Requirements and Trial Methods of Lifting bar of Industrial Vehicles,then an analysis was made upon lack of safety and the problem from the usage;on basis of this vehicle body,a new design of lifting bar was conducted.With a comparison on solutions of different supporting leg types,rectangle tube was adopted for being as the type of supporting leg;after making a research on solution for connection of ceiling and supporting leg,welded connection was selected finally.Based on safety,appearance,size specifications of forklift truck,various functional components requirements of forklift truck,a proper solution for ceiling structure was determined and a detailed design was conducted for parts of lifting bar.2.In software of Pro/E5.0,various components models of lifting bar of forklift truck were established and virtual assembly was conducted.Through utilization of Workbench module in ANSYS software,falling object trial and simulation of falling impact wereconducted;then analyzed the results and put forward solution for optimization.3.Conducted design for improvement upon light weight of lifting bar structure;conducted trial of falling object and falling impact trial again;verified and analyzed simulation of bearing capacity in side,portrait and vertical directions for improved lifting bar.In line with ISO6055 Technical Requirements and Trial Methods of Lifting bar of Industrial Vehicles,real vehicle trial was conducted and the result accorded with requirement of standard.The lifting bar designed in this article has simple structure and beautiful appearance,with full consideration on light weight and assurance on safety and stability of lifting bar of forklift truck.Therefore,it guarantees the safety for workers and has significant meaning in real production.
