Industrial boiler water quality has strict requirement of hardness and the hardness overproof water into the boiler will cause the boiler scaling, scale formation will cause the boiler heat efficiency is poor, also increased the boiler security hidden danger. A lot of the current water treatment methods, which use water softener for boiler water treatment is one of the main ways. Practical applications use softener dependence in boiler water quality conditions and to determine the water quality conditions to the water quality testing. The traditional artificial detection method can not be timely, accurate and rapid detection of water quality. With the development of industrial automation, water quality online detection is developing rapidly, the market has emerged a lot of water hardness testing instrument.This paper is based on the original research group of water quality on-line detection instrument, developed an online boiler water quality detection system based on color sensor, the system is mainly to redesign the original water quality on-line detection instrument in the following aspects:first, water quality on-line detection titration box redesign, titration box structure by chemical reaction and mixing tank a light source, a color sensor, liquid level meter and agitator separation, the two part and different materials, to avoid the influence of fouling test box color detection accuracy; two, set up the experimental platform of on-line water quality detection, structural optimization process of titration, peristaltic pump, water inlet and outlet valve and outlet valve etc. during the execution, implementation of the titration process can be repeated good mechanical device and easy to replace; three, optimize the system of workflow software design of two operating modes of the online detection system, increase The scene recognition function and mechanical device running status, increase the communication circuit of single chip microcomputer and microcontroller communication control function; four, based on the color sensor chip through the white balance correction, through the allocation of different concentrations of the experimental qualitative analysis curve detection system of water hardness, quantitative analysis of the specific curve, by comparing the polynomial fitting curve of different color models and the first derivative curve, to determine the RGB color model as the terminal point of color model; five, based on the MAX485 communication chip to realize the water quality detection system for communication function, communication protocol using Modbus communication protocol, the PC user interface is designed based on VB, realize the real-time display and the data of the running state of the system to read.Through the redesign of the online water quality monitoring instrument and improve the color sensor of titration reaction process color detection accuracy and reliability, the end point determination with high accuracy, the software is simple to implement, serial communication realized on-line monitoring titration process, in the last part of this paper on water quality on-line detection system experiments are carried out to verify. The results show that reliable titration process of the online water quality monitoring system, water hardness testing quickly and accurately, can meet the requirements of water quality on-line detection.
