With the rapid pace of global energy saving and emission reduction,the low carbon economy has become the global consensus.According to the healthy development of shipping industry,IMO has launched the Energy Efficiency Design Index(EEDI)and the Energy Efficiency Operation Index(EEOI)(MARPOL73/78)Annex VI of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships(MARPOL 73/78),which formally adopted the amendments to the Energy Efficiency Code for the shipping industry and the shipbuilding industry in accordance with the Energy Efficiency Rules Greenhouse gas emissions to regulate.In this paper,the oil tanker is chosen as the object of study,and the relevant design and operating parameters of oil tanker with typical tonnage of 75,000 DWTs,159,000 DWTs and 300,000 DWTs can be selected to represent the oil tanker.The ship Energy Efficiency Design Index and the ship Energy Efficiency OperationIndex of statistical analysis.The main contents are as follows:(1)Energy Efficiency Design IndexIncluding the formal adoption process of EEDI,applicable ship type,calculation formula and meaning,and verification process of the ship Energy Efficiency Design Index.And the EEDI values of three typical oil tankers are calculated.The results show that the 75,000 DWTs tanker does not meet the requirements of EEDI.159,000 DWTs and 300,000 DWTs oil tanker EEDI at this stage to meet the requirements of oil tankers.The sensitivity and sensitivity of the EEDI of 300,000 DWTs VLCC are analyzed,which can provide reference for the optimization design of EEDI.(2)Energy Efficiency Operation IndexIncluding the evolution history,formula and meaning of EEOI,CO2 emission factor,fuel consumption interval,navigation mileage and so on.According to the navigation data,the EEOI of the three typical oil tankers of 75,000 DWTs,159,000 DWTs and 300,000 DWTs are statistically analyzed during the voyage.The EEOI of the same tonnage oil tanker on international routes is lower than that of the domestic routes.Ship tonnage and EEOI value are in inverse proportion function relationship;the contribution rate of domestic small-tonnage oil tanker boiler to EEOI is higher than that of main engine:the main tonnage tanker of international route navigation is in the absolute dominant position.
