In this thesis,the workshop production logistics system was studied from two aspects of facility layout optimization and simulation system based on metalworking workshop of L company.Through designing a reasonable facilities layout scheme and puting forward effective improvement measures after simulation and analysis,the workshop production logistics system was optimized.Firstly,through the analysis of the production process and the handling distance and capacity between workshop equipment,the existing problem of the original facility layout was found.And then the system layout planning(SLP)was applied to design out certain number of feasible facility layout schemes after analyzed the logistics,non-logistics and comprehensive relationship between the various units in the workshop.Secondly,the method of product of capacities and distance and Fuzzy AHP were impressed on the designed and original schemes through single factor and multi factors comprehensive evaluation.The optimal facilities layout was selected by integrating two evaluation result,so as to achieve the purpose of optimizing the facilities layout.Thirdly,based on the evaluated optimal scheme of facilities layout,the function of the production system,the processing flow and the logical relations among different resources were described throngh establishing the Petri net model of the production process of the parts in the workshop.Finaly,Flexsim simulation software was employed to establish the simulation model of the system involving all processing equipment and parts'production process in the workshop on the basis of the Petri net model.Through the analysis of the generated simulation reports,the problems in the production logistics system was found and the improvement measures were put forward.After simulating the proposed improvement measures and comparing with the simulation results,the improvement measures were verified to be effective,thereby the improvement of the production process was realized.
