The layout of manufacturing facilities plays a key role in the production, facility layout needs to consider various aspects of the product processing, such as production costs, material handling, operating personnel, etc., to optimize production resources in the production process. In addition, the data shows that enterprise production logistics accounts for a large proportion of production costs. Good production facility layout, not only can greatly reduce the logistics circuitous, but also can improve production efficiency, reduce production costs and shorten the processing cycle, thus greatly improving the economic and social impact of enterprises. Therefore, more and more people began to focus on enterprise production logistics system design and optimization and improvement of facilities layout, logistics system design in nature is also part of the facilities layout. The effect of the merits of facility layout also need to have an appropriate evaluation criteria and methods of evaluation.This paper introduces the development process of facility layout and focuses on the classic layout method SLP (System Layout Planning). In the case of G Company production workshop, using SLP method to optimize the layout of the facility layout for its production workshop. Firstly,using G company’s production data, statistical analysis of the data obtained for the organization of the workshop production plant production needs,taking advantage of from-to list and the relevant chart technical to analysis logistics and production data, combined with vibration, dust, etc. non-production workshop logistics factors, comprehensive analysis workshop facility layout design. And then combined with the actual factory workshop venue demand of G factory,draw two improved layout scheme. For evaluating Improvement plans, this paper proposes a combination of actual plant including safety factors, such as flexible evaluation criteria. Finally, using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) to improve the post-layout program with the original layout of the programs should be evaluated, select the optimal layout scheme based on evaluation results. The logistics efficiency in the optimized layout of workshop have improved greatly.This paper built a platform contains workshop facility layout, the optimization of logistics, scheme evaluation, which have a certain reference and guidance significance for the same type of manufacturing enterprises.
