| Nowadays,container transport has become the main means of international maritime transport of goods.During the maritime transportation of containers,the containers stowed on deck will have a tendency to skewed,sliding or overturning due to the combined effect of wind pressure,shock waves force,inertial force due to ship mov-ement and itself gravity.It will cause serious consequences if securing system failed.Checking the safety of securing system is necessary.At present,classification societies around the world have corresponding specificat-ions,which are not uniform,on strength calculation for container and securing devices.Besides,there exists a gap between the corner and the twist-lock due to wear,corrosion and manufacturing error in practice.There will be a collision and resulting in a certain impact force in the course of ship rolling which will cause a certain bias on the calculation accuracy of the results,so there is a potential safety hazard.This paper will start from checking the strength of containers and securing devices,analyzing and studying the calculation method of ABS for checking the strength of container and securing devices,drawing and having an in-depth study on previous research on the force acting on container and securing devices,and summarize a set of safer calculation method about checking the strength of container and securing devices with consideration of the collision between container corner fittings and the twist lock.In order to improve calculating efficiency and reduce the difficulty of checking the safety of container stowed on deck and provide users with a simple,easy-to-check method,this paper will provide a deck container securing safety evaluation software by the software language C#and MySQL database under the consideration of calculation method which is gave in this paper.And providing detailed metrics calculations and verification conclusion for different stowage on deck to guarantee a safe container securing. |
