The growing demand for oil energy now, promote the oil tanker to go toward the direction of large and super large. So the capacity requirement of the boiler is bigger and bigger, however, comparatively, boilers' size is not changed so much.Under the condition of insuring both speediness as well as economy, the requirement to boiler control system becomes higher. The primary function of the boiler is to produce steam which will heat cargo oil?lubricating oil and drive deck machinery and procide crew domestic water. Its evaporation is large and the vaper pressure is very high and the normal operation of the boiler directly influence the safe navigation of ships. The subject in this paper is automatic control water level?antomatic control of combustion(steam pressure)?automatic control of combustion timing?safety control. In order to achieve the desired control effect, this paper use STM32F107 chip as the master control chip.Hardware circuit board design based of marine boiler automatic control system functions,to select the Cortex-M3 core processor STM32F107,and design water level, steam pressure, oil tempreture, oil pressure signal acquisition circuit to implement signal input and output functions.Embedded software programming includs real-time operating system ?C/OSii transplant, design of underlying hardware-driven design, design of network communication protocol, marine boiler control system functional tasks, and the design of sync generator control panel. The design of the embedded VLCC boiler control system has advantages of low cost, easy to operate, strong scalability, and the control system can be modularized and networked, which is significance for VLCC boiler control system further research and development.
