Remanufacturing is the best way to reuse high-value mechanical and electrical products in manufacturing industry at present.But the uncertainty of remanufacturing ‘cores' in traditional remanufacturing engineering hinder the industrialized application of remanufacturing engineering to some extent.To meet this problem,a timing decision-making analysis method for predecisional remanufacturing based on product performance is presented in this paper.Firstly,the concept of predecisional remanufacturing for mechanical and electrical products,the relationship between product predecisional remanufacturing time and components predecisional remanufacturing time is expounded.With analyzing the relationship between predecisional remanufacturing and product performance,a timing decision-making analysis method for predecisional remanufacturing based on product performance is presented.Then,with analyzing the failure process of the key components in the using phase,a quantitative model of the remanufacturability for key components is established.And with analyzing the variable performance of the products,the mapping relationship between product performance and its key components failure condition is set up.Based on the relationship,with quantitatively analyzing the variable performance of components in the manufacturing phase,the using phase,the remanufacturing phase and re-using phase,components predecisional remanufacturing time is obtained based on the MOP.After that,based on life matching principle,each component predecisional remanufacturing internal is matched in order to optimize product economical efficiency and environment in life cycle.Finally,based on related literatures and experimental datas,the relationship between engine performance and the wear of crankshaft,connecting rod and cylinder-piston is analyzed,and the variable performance of the engine in the manufacturing phase,the using phase,the remanufacturing phase and re-using phase is quantified.Thus,based on the MOP and the life matching,a timing decision-making method for predecisional remanufacturing based on the wear of crankshaft,connecting rod and cylinder-piston is established..
