Research On The Risk Management Of Bangladesh Barapukuria Power Plant Phase Ⅱ EPC Project

With the expanding of China’s strategy of "Go global",overseas project contracting market has become the focus of Chinese Enterprise more and more.Accordingly,the overseas EPC project management is becoming a hot area of domestic scholars.As the Risk Management is an important part of project management system,the Research of overseas EPC project Risk Management has an important significance on both management theory and engineering practice.In this paper,the research object is the project risk management of Bangladesh Barapukuria power plant phase ii EPC project which with the Chinese Enterprise as the general contractor.The project is Bangladesh government project with moderate size,based on the analysis of the research on Chinese enterprise overseas construction project risk has certain representativeness.In this paper,according to the way of analyzing the specific issues,from risk identification,risk analysis,risk assessment,risk response to several aspects to obtain,basing on many years of work experience in Bangladesh and from China project execution team,long-term Chinese live and work in Bangladesh,the owner project management aspects of collection of project risk questionnaires for data base,using the Delphi method,establishing the probability and impact matrix management methods,such as analysis of risk factors,to assess risk level.After detailed investigation and research,from the project risk management plan is proposed on the whole,set up the risk management system suitable for the specific project execution.This article in the overseas EPC general contracting project risk management by using the method,the analysis of the Angle and the related measures,for the Chinese enterprises in the whole South Asia and other developing countries expand the market and further improve the level of project management,construction project has important reference value.
