Rolling bearing is the key component of mechanical equipment.Its performance has direct inluence on the operation of the host.The theoretical analysis and experimental study on the performance and parameters of the new elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing are an essential part of its application.There are a few test functions of the general bearing test-bed with low prices at present.While,the high performance test-bed mainly developed by major bearing manufacturers.Based on these factors,this research will develop a new type of rolling bearing test-bed which can directly test various parameters.At the same time,The comparative study on the contact characteristics and vibration characteristics of elastic bearings and plain bearings is primarity carried out in this paper,as well as the numerical calculation of the contact characteristics and the validation of the model of the elastic bearing.The main research contents are as follows:First,the overall scheme of the new rolling bearing test-bed is put forward,which has a design of the mechanical system,the measurement and control system;The prototype of the test-bed was manufactured,installed and debugged,when the problems occurred in the initial stage of the experiment were analyzed and solved.Preliminary test results showed that the new rolling bearing test-bed has a reasonable structure and stable performance,which can achieve the desired test results.Second,the contact characteristics of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing and cylindrical roller bearing was compared and analyzed in the experiment.The results showed that the test date of the contact characteristics of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing are smaller than the ordinary cylindrical roller bearing under the static test and dynamic test conditions which has a different loading speed and the load.At the same time,the increasing trend of the contact stress of the bearing outer ring is smaller than that of the ordinary bearing.Third,the vibration characteristics of test-bed spindle equiped with elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing and ordinary cylindrical roller bearing was studied with two loading speed.The results showed that the vibration displacement of the spindle in the horizontal and vertical direction is smaller than that of the ordinary cylindrical roller bearing.Fourth,numerical analysis on contact characteristics of elastic bearing was carried out,which obtained the contact stress,equivalent stress and displacement deformation of housing and contact parts in bearing outer ring.And the experimental data of the contact stress of the outer ring of the elastic bearing are compared with the numerical results.The results showd that the experimental data and numerical results are within 10%,which chould verify the the correctness of the numerical model.The development of test-bed of this paper not only enrich the research technical means of the elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing,but also has an important role in expanding its basic performance research category with numerical analysis and experimental study on contact stress and vibration displacement of elastic bearing.
