Along with the work centrality of traffic and water resources development as well as infrastructure construction engineering moving to the west of our country,it is essential to build more deep and long tunnels,which are especially suitable for TBM method when considering the technology,economy and duarion.However,using TBM method always encounters a series of problems,particularly in deep composite stratum,which needs to be studied in depth.This paper carried out the research of adaptability analysis for TBM selection and tunneling in deep composite stratum,using the methods of theoretical study and software development.The main research contents and achievements are as follows.(1)Based on research rsults at home and abroad,experts opinions and project cases,factors about TBM design,geological conditions,harmful geological problems,construction organization,etc,which are strongly correlated with TBM selection and tunneling are filtrated.The TBM selecton adaptivity index system and TBM drilling adaptivity index system are esdabulished.(2)Firstly,the adaptability membership functions in TBM selection adaptivity index system and TBM tunneling adaptivity index system are confirmed,using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory.Then by using analytic hierarchy process theory,the weights and ranking of factors are confirmed.Synthesizing all the adaptability membership functions and factor weights,the TBM selecton adaptivity evaluation model and TBM tunneling adaptivity evaluation model are esdablished.(3)Based on the theory of the model as well as computer technologies such as Visual studio platform,Access database and Visual C#computer language,a professional evaluation software called "Expert system of TBM selecton adaptivity evaluation and TBM drilling adaptivity evaluation in deep composite stratum" is developed.This evaluation software has characteristics such as calculating accurately and efficiently,functional diversity,operation process and the results are presented in real time,operating in real time,and data environmental safety,etc.(4)By using "Expert system of TBM selecton adaptivity evaluation and TBM drilling adaptivity evaluation in deep composite stratum",TBM selecton adaptivity evaluation and TBM drilling adaptivity evaluation of typical TBM projects,such as Liaoning northwest water supply engineering,Chongqing suway line 6 project,Yindajihuang water tunnel engineering and Daban tunnel engineering are complished.Comparing with site situation,the evaluation results shows that TBM types recommended by software is reasonable,the tunneling adaptivity value is consistent with prsctical consruction situation,which illustrates validity and practicability of the evaluation software.The The research results of this paper are of significant theoretical and practical value for TBM selecton adaptivity evaluation and TBM drilling adaptivity evaluation in deep composite stratum,and provided a effective analysis tool.
