Marine four stroke diesel engine is an important equipment which affects the safety of ship navigation.It requires the relevant crew to master it's operation and maintenance methods.It is one of the important means to improve the crew's operational capability and reduce the accident of the ship by using the marine engine simulator to train the crew.However,the simulator of the existing four stroke diesel engine is too simple.It can not carry out the four stroke diesel engine system maintenance,fault diagnosis,emergency treatment and other aspects of the training.Aiming at the shortcoming this article analysis the typical four stroke diesel engine YANMAR 8N330L-GW and establishes the mathematical models of YANMAR 8N330L-GW diesel engine and the UG8 hydraulic speed governor.Compile the program by VC++6.0 software and calculate the mathematical model.The result compared with the bench test data shows that the model can reflect the actual system's steady-state and dynamic characteristics correctly.Four stroke diesel engine simulation model built by the article can be used to forecast the performance of diesel engine under different working conditions.It can provide the technical support for the prediction of four stroke diesel engine performance and health status assessment.The simulation model provides technical support for the shipping company to develop the remote fault diagnosis and decision-making system.It can be used for the training,teaching,assessment,fault diagnosis and treatment in the relevant maritime colleges.
