Study On Indentification For Construction Claims

In a market economic system,construction contractors are different economic entities,which have different interests.Construction contractors disagree on certain issues,disputes and claims caused by which is a normal phenomenon.Integration of domestic and foreign construction markets,construction enterprises are forced to strengthen project management,pay attention to claims management to tap the economic potential.About the realted knowledge,Firstly,the terms of the construction contracts at home and abroad were analyzed,terms to be used to claim were sorted out as reference of identification for claims.On the methond of claim recognition,According to the application stage and identify depth I put forward the following three ways: 1.Claim identification based on the theory of risk management,which is mainly used in the preparation before the signing of the contract;2.Claim identification based on the contract status analysis,which is mainly used in the project phase after the signing of the contract;3.Claim identification based on the expert system of claim,which is mainly used as added recobgnition method for the above two claims,and also identify cost items of claim in depth.Finally,a case analysis is carried out with a garden expo project.The analysis results verify the applicability and feasibility of the above-mentioned identification method of claim.The most important objective of using different levels of claim identification is to precontrol the claim events and increase efficiency of the subsequent work.The effective methods of claim identification will improve the contract management level,and promote the economic benefit in construction enterprises.
