Driving safety is the most basic and highest request for a vehicle.The variation of tire temperature has great influence on the overall performance of the tire,which will affect the vehicle driving safety.Thus,the studying of tire temperature draw the special focus of both vehicle manufacture and tire manufacture home and abroad.Unfortunately,the study result is not that satisfied in these years.The main problems are as below: unsatisfied identification result of material model,difficult to identify the thermal boundary conditions of the tire,bad com Parison between the model and test result.This thesis intends to build a more precise temperature field model,ensure strict testing from Parameters of the rubber material which will be used for building the model,precise identification on the material model,verification of the tire finite modle,identification of the tire thermal boundary conditions,static temperature field,and verify the model versatilely with the test result as the only standard.In order to build a finite element model with high precision,we tested the rubber and framework material of the tire by material extending,compressing,shearing,etc.,ensured precise Parameters of tire rubber by testing,editingprogram for high precision identification on material model.Testing the mechanical property of the tire under different conditions,we made com Parison validation on finite element model of the tire from longitudinalrigidity,lateral rigidity,radial rigidity,torsional rigidity and the ground contact Patch of the tire.We tested the rubber's specific heat and thermal conductivity which needed when analyzing tire thermal conducting with experiment,testing Rubber viscoelastic loss tangent value,with a dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analyzer,writing MATLAB program to make the tire stressstrain into the Unit heat production rate of the tire finite element model through The Fourier Transform.With the help of Fortran,leading the unit heat production rate into finite element model,finally make the internal heat source of the tire temperature field.To amend the boundary convection heat exchange factor of the tire by testing the tire temperature field.Identify an material property for the air in the tire,so that it can exchange thermal with the tire.To verify the tire temperature field,we tested the tire temperature field when the tire is in different conditions on the outer drum test rig.This thesis study the influence on static temperature field from the loading,tire pressure and speed of the tire by com Paring the test result and simulation result.We found that the change of tire loading and speed have bigger influence on the tire temperature field,and the tire pressure smaller.Simulate the change of the tire temperature field when the tire is with different side rake angle.We found that the temperature of tire shoulder and tire sidewall is obviously higher for the side standing more stress than the one with less.Also,it has wider high temperature area,which complies to tire footprint pressure when the tire is sloping.Considering the temperature field has big influence on the tire rolling resistance,we also study the influence of tire pressure,tire loading and speed on the tire rolling resistance.The precision of the com Parison verify the reliability of the model.
