With the persistent extension of city size and the expansion growth of population in China,the pace of urbanization is speeding up.The constant improvement of urban residents living standards led to the increasing social activities within cities and the traffic demand is growing.City scale expanding caused the increase of resident trips and total travel distance.The increase car quantity caused serious traffic congestion in urban.Urban public transport priority development is not only the effective measure to alleviate urban traffic congestion,but also the inevitable requirement of improving the urban environment and promoting the sustainable development to cities of highly centralized urban population.Urban public traffic is the main form of public transport.The normal operation of urban public traffic depends on the terminal facilities planning and construction and it must coordinate with the development of vehicle development scale.But the lack of reasonable planning and reserve land caused insufficient parks,and most of the vehicles can only be parked along the road at night.High density of urban construction land is difficult to provide enough land for the use of urban public traffic parks.Regular bus depot construction lag has seriously restricts the development of urban public transportation in China.The lag of public traffic parks has limited the development of urban public transportation.It is particularly important to research the theoretical approach of urban public traffic parks planning according to the urban construction planning in China.This paper mainly studies a model of urban public traffic parks planning that satisfies intensive land utilization and minimum cost of returning to park according to the development of urban public traffic parks in China.First,this paper organized the classification,function and layout principle of urban public traffic parks,proposed designing bus-line network according to the resident trip demand forecast result,forecasted the total areas of urban public traffic parks according to quantity of required buses,and developed a discrete exhaustion method to ensure all of the alternative urban public traffic parks.Second,it determined the modal idea,ensured basic underlying assumption method of confirming the distance between terminal station and parks,and ensured the prior target between intensive land utilization and cost of returning to park.Comprehensively considering the relationship between location and scale planning,this paper developed a model of urban public traffic parks planning satisfying intensive land utilization and minimum cost of returning to park,and ensured the calculating algorithm to solve the model.Last,it took the short-range planning of Jian city public traffic parks(2016-2020)as an example to research and effectiveness of the model is proved with the compare of traditional planning method.
