With the rapid development of civil airport construction in China,land occupation and demand for construction are increasing day by day.The research on land resource conservation in airport planning and operation is of great significance to the improvement of China's green airport construction level,the utilization of air transport land conservation advantage and the promotion of sustainable development of airports.This paper explains the connotation of airport land use intensification,systematically collects and analyzes the passenger and cargo volume and land area scale of the TOP50 airports in the world,and on this basis puts forward the evaluation indexes of airport land use intensification level,such as intensification degree and intensification rate.This paper analyzes the factors affecting the movement area and the terminal area and the calculating method of the movement area.The linear regression analysis was carried out on TOP50 airports of global traffic volume by SPSS software,and the relationship between the airport traffic volume converted and the number of takeoffs and landings and the number of runways was obtained.This paper studies and summarizes the measures that are conducive to saving the airport's land use,and puts forward the runway configuration and terminal area layout scheme that can realize the intensive land use.This paper USES MATLAB and SIMMOD software to establish the evaluation method of airport operation efficiency.Based on the above results,the paper optimizes and adjusts the existing overall planning layout of three typical runway airports: Shanghai hongqiao airport,Xi 'an airport and Beijing capital airport.The land scale decreased by 4.01%,22.75% and 17.59% respectively.The average ground taxiing time of the incoming aircraft decreased by 8.56%,15.23% and 16.19% respectively.The average ground taxiing time of departing aircraft was basically unchanged at Shanghai hongqiao airport,and decreased by 23.07% at Xi 'an xianyang airport and 22.05% at Beijing capital airport.It is proved that the optimization method is feasible and effective.
