Project management mainly reflects in the progress,cost and quality,these three aspects are often referred to the three elements of project management.Schedule,cost and quality are influence each other.Schedule in progress tend to cause the decrease of the project quality and the increase of the project cost,so the project schedule management applied to the project can reduce the loss.GD Testing Institute of Product Quality Supervision is subordinated to General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision of GD Province,it’s a statutory third-party specializing in product quality inspection and authentication institution and undertake the regular and special supervision and inspection tests for all levels of government,and commissioned tests.After the new government came to power,inspection institutions will carriy on the great reform.Enterprise is free from the product quality supervision and inspection fee,Inspection institutions of income will be drastically reduced.In order to avoid the sharp decline in business,a batch of new testing project will be launched including furniture flame retardant laboratory construction project.This paper uses project schedule management theory to create and control the schedule of furniture flame retardant laboratory construction project.Specifically,through the work breakdown structure,gantt chart and the critical path to determine the project schedule,then based on the project schedule to control the schedule,established and improved the project schedule control system,fully controlled the project in three stages:before,during and after.In the implementation of the schedule,inspected and collected the information of the schedule,arranged regular meeting,prepared schedule report.Use of non-uniform gantt chart and setting milestone compare the actual progress to the schedule.When the project progress deviation occurs,found out the reasons,put forward the measures,adjust the project schedule,finally achieved the project schedule.
